This is my first. I thought this was a classic, but after a lot of searching, I can't find it in print anywhere, online or in a book. So here goes... He came. He saw. He freaked out. He died. |

Welcome to the forum Miroac. And btw, you dont have to answer the standard questions unless they are asked, especially if your puzzle contains talking anteaters or victimized squirrels. Is he someone famous? Which century BC/AD did he live in? |

Welcome to the forum Miroac. And btw, you dont have to answer the standard questions unless they are asked, especially if your puzzle contains talking anteaters or victimized squirrels.Thanks. I meant to put that in the original post, just to save time. I'll double-check the solution to be sure about the anteaters and squirrels. Is he someone famous? no Which century BC/AD did he live in? fairly irrel just to go along with the title, let's call him Julius. |

Does Julius freak out because of what he sees? Does he die because he was freaked out? Heart attack? Any other person involved? Any animal? Check my newest puzzle for the victimized squirrel. |

Was there something unusual in the appearance of the man Julius sees (can we call him Anthony?) Did Julius freak out only because he saw ANthony? Or was there something else relevant? |

Was there something unusual in the appearance of the man Julius sees (can we call him Anthony?) I'd have to say Yope. Did Julius freak out only because he saw Anthony? Yope-- Yes for seeing him, No for the "only" Or was there something else relevant? Yes. Lots of things. vague hint: This is a fairly elaborate story, at least in my opinion. There's a lot to be uncovered yet. |

OK. So: Was Julius afraid of Anthony? Was he surprised to see him? Did he think Anthony was dead? Did Anthony represent a real threat to Julius? You said it is relevant where he was. Was he on sea? in the air? on firm land? |
