A woman lies dead in a cage. The size of her feet gave away the plot.

Ok--human woman? Female? Adult? Alive? Dead? Her=dead woman? Are the feet particularly large? Particularly small? Particularly average?

Plot as in plan? Is the given-away plot the one which resulted in the woman's death? Or her being in the cage? Or is it not that kind of plot?

Is the cage something like a bird cage? A Farraday(?sp) cage? Some other thing typically referred to as a cage? Like an old-fashioned elevator or something?

Was she intended to be in the cage as herself, or did she pretend to be somebody/something else (like an animal)?

Were there other people involved in the plot? If so, how many (LTPF list of numbers)?

Is the woman's profession relevant? DId she work in a circus?

Was the size of her feet relevant because:

- it helped to recognize her?
- it contributed to the fact that she had lost her life?

Did she actually have feet?
Was she chinese?
Do you actually know the size of her feet?
Were her feet deformed?
Any of the above relevant?

Was the cage suspended in the air?
Was she murdered?
Was she having an affair with a circus midget?

Is there anything else in the cage such as a man eating lion?
Mode of death relevant?
Do we need to identify the murderer?
And likewise with the motive?

In other words do we need to solve a murder here?

Motives:
Jealousy?
Possessiveness?
Revenge?
Material gain?
rage?

Mode of death relevant? yes
Do we need to identify the murderer? yes
And likewise with the motive? Nah, I'll just reveal that at the end, it's not really interesting

In other words do we need to solve a murder here? yes

Motives:
Jealousy? this
Possessiveness?
Revenge?
Material gain?
rage?

So, "The size of her feet gave away the plot" means "The fact that her feet were small helped someone figure out that she was murdered"?

"...other people..."? "No, just one." means there's just one other person besides her that's relevant? This is her murderer? This is a person, correct, not the lion? This person (Q) is human/adult/male/...? a perfomer in the circus? Does she know Q? well?
Was Q jealous of her? Was she jealous of Q?
Was the jealousy related another person? money/salary? status? skill as a circus performer?

The cage is a "standard" lion's cage? Did Q lock her in it? Did she willfully enter the cage? Did she know the lion was in the cage when she entered it?

Who is the plot given away to? her murderer? an investigator? us, LTPF members?

I'll stop there for now...

Just one thing - if she was killed by a man eating Lion, was she eaten all up?

Did the murderess have small feet too?
Are we calling the murderess Q?
Okay, then does Q go around murdering people with small feet?

Were Delilah's (that's the dead woman) feet smaller after her demise?

Do we need to know anything else about Delilah?

Since I started the Q thing, let's give her a real name. I'll start with a real name next time, I promise.
Can we call Q Quiana?

Quiana murdered Delilah, because she, Quiana, was jealous of Delilah. Her jealousy was related to another person other than Delilah?
Was Delilah outside the cage at some point? Was Delilah alive when she first went into the cage? Did Delilah go into the cage on her own? or was she taken into the cage? by Quiana?
So, if her feet had been larger, the investigator wouldn't have known Delilah was murdered?
Any footprints relevant? inside the cage? outside the cage?
Did the lion play any part in her death?

Are we calling the murderess Q? See below
Okay, then does Q go around murdering people with small feet? nope

Do we need to know anything else about Delilah? Just one more thing

Can we call Q Quiana? Absolutely.

Quiana murdered Delilah, because she, Quiana, was jealous of Delilah. Her jealousy was related to another person other than Delilah? yup, one of the owners of the circus who Quiana thought might have his eye on Delilah, and that's basically all you really need to know in regards to motive

Was Delilah outside the cage at some point?yes Was Delilah alive when she first went into the cage? NO Did Delilah go into the cage on her own? no or was she taken into the cage? yes by Quiana? yes
So, if her feet had been larger, the investigator wouldn't have known Delilah was murdered? There were other clues, but that factor was the final straw
Any footprints relevant? no inside the cage? outside the cage?
Did the lion play any part in her death? NO

So Quiana wanted the death to look like Delilah was killed by the lion ?
So she killed Delilah and put her body inside the lion's cage ?

Was the lion inside the cage ? when the body was taken inside ? when it was discovered ? all the time in between ?

Are footprints relevant ? of Delilah ? of Quiana ? of the lion ?
Is footware/shoes relevant ? of Delilah ? of Quiana ? of the lion :) ?

Is the size of Quiana's feet relevant ? Is the distance between the cage bars relevant ?

Is there something Delilah could have done to save herself because of her small feet ? Is there something she could not have done ?

Is the training of the lion relevant at all ? his psychology ? Was either Delilah or Quiana involved in the training of the lion ?

Did the lion eat the dead body ? part of it ? relevant which part ? Did he just maim the body ? Did he touch the body at all ?

So Quiana wanted the death to look like Delilah was killed by the lion ? YES
So she killed Delilah and put her body inside the lion's cage ? Bingo! :)

Was the lion inside the cage ? yes when the body was taken inside ? YES, and this is *very* important when it was discovered ? yes all the time in between ? yes

Are footprints relevant ? no of Delilah ? of Quiana ? of the lion ?
Is footware/shoes relevant ? no of Delilah ? of Quiana ? of the lion ?

Is the size of Quiana's feet relevant ? YES Is the distance between the cage bars relevant ? no

Is there something Delilah could have done to save herself because of her small feet ? no Is there something she could not have done ? no

Is the training of the lion relevant at all ? noish his psychology ? yessish Was either Delilah or Quiana involved in the training of the lion ? YES

Did the lion eat the dead body ? no part of it ? no relevant which part ? Did he just maim the body ? Did he touch the body at all ? no to all

Some very good progress made here.

Was Delilah involved in training the lion, or Quiana, or both?
Is the method Quiana used to kill Delilah relevant? strangulation? stabbing? was this method intended to look like teeth marks? claw marks?
Did the lion somehow know or distinguish between people based on the size of their feet?
