You accidentally turned the courtesy light on, didn't turn it off ... and when you came back to the car, the battery was flat and it wouldn't start? Twice? |

You accidentally turned the courtesy light on, didn't turn it off ... and when you came back to the car, the battery was flat and it wouldn't start? Twice? Yes to all... ****************SPOILER************** The courtesy light in my car has a habit of flickering, so in order to stop that I had to turn it off completely rather than let it come on as and when I opened my door. However, for some reason when I got home, I had turned it on without realising and found I had a flat battery the next day! this resulting in me having to call out my poor old dad to bring his jump leads and jump start the car. This is the only time I have done this until three days later when I did exactly the same thing which resulted in another embarrasing call to my dad!! Well done Tony and to all who contributed! |
