Would the Pub name in itself have caused the issue? (eg "Where's Your Pimple") Or was it the Pub name in conjunction with the rest of her request? (eg "How do you get to "The Queens Legs" |

By Fred Z (Dref) on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 - 08:58 pm: Is the pub famous? there are a few pubs with this name in London, and others elsewhere in England. None is particularly famous as such. |

Is the pub name more than three words? Does the name contain the word "Arms"? "Crown?" Does the pub name share the same title of another area/place/building/structure? if so, famous? |

By Simon Downham (Beroean) on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 - 11:13 pm: Is the "structure" the same thing as the "object"? the name of the pub contains two nouns. One of them is a very vague "structure", though it would help far more to think of it as a "geographical location..." Is the geographical location a location in London? ...which is not in London |

By Fred Z (Dref) on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 - 11:47 pm: Last guess: Cross Keys? not this. No need to guess - you can find out about a "structure" that is also a "geographical location" easily enough - remembering that these are not precise terms |
