By (Stuccosalt) on Tuesday, April 05, 2005 - 09:26 pm: Devon the county? Devon, the county in south-west England Devon some other geographical place? no Is Devon a person (I wouldn't put it past you...) you and Braden Looper seem incapable at the moment of putting anything past anyone |

By Sam Greene (Pandora) on Tuesday, April 05, 2005 - 09:36 pm: Is there an object now available? this is perhaps the best way of looking at it... something intangible? ...though this is also possible was it ever available in Devon? I imagine it may well have been, but it is only recently that a particular instance of its availability has come to my notice |

Is the title more than a reference to Devon and/or Sir Francis Drake? Is the Boat Race relevant? |

Don't tell me they've dumped the remains of the ill fated millenium dome there! Is it something that is available in other counties? Is it somesort of landmark? A natural substance? |

By Jens Weber (Sundowner) on Tuesday, April 05, 2005 - 09:43 pm: Is the title more than a reference to Devon and/or Sir Francis Drake? no, not really Is the Boat Race relevant? no, but an interesting thought By Sam Greene (Pandora) on Tuesday, April 05, 2005 - 09:44 pm: Don't tell me they've dumped the remains of the ill fated millenium dome there! very well then. I won't. Is it something that is available in other counties? yes, I think so, but not to anything like the same extent as it is currently available in Devon just at the moment Is it some sort of landmark? no A natural substance? no |

Something manmade? is there just one thing available to see? or several things widely available to the whole of Devon? Is is some sort of publication? Has Devon only just got access to the internet!? |

By Sam Greene (Pandora) on Tuesday, April 05, 2005 - 09:48 pm: Something manmade? yes is there just one thing available to see? no or several things widely available to the whole of Devon? yes. This line of questioning may seriously mislead - what is available is, in one sense, a "thing", but it is not a single "entity". Is is some sort of publication? no Has Devon only just got access to the internet!? what, as well as Channel 5? Poor, poor Devon. |

Is it a tunnel? Is there a particular place in Devon that is relevant? Is Cornwall affected by this sudden availability? Did the people of Devon know they were getting this? or did it come as a bit of a shock? Will it permanently be available? |

Charles and Camilla memorabilia with a complete range of available dates at the Town Hall (plus the odds for the favourite for the Grand National just to add a bit of interest) ? |

By Sam Greene (Pandora) on Tuesday, April 05, 2005 - 11:05 pm: Is it a tunnel? no, nor any other kind of structure Is there a particular place in Devon that is relevant? yes Is Cornwall affected by this sudden availability? no Did the people of Devon know they were getting this? no or did it come as a bit of a shock? yes Will it permanently be available? no - its availability will last for no more than a couple of months, if that |

By Lynne (Lynne) on Tuesday, April 05, 2005 - 11:08 pm: Charles and Camilla memorabilia I think that, due to a recent sad event, this has had to be recalled so that it isn't actually available anywhere at the moment with a complete range of available dates at the Town Hall must be the sub-tropical climate - the rest of England has to put up with apples (plus the odds for the favourite for the Grand National just to add a bit of interest) no one knows those either, now that First Gold isn't running. Despite which, hi Lynne |

By Sam Greene (Pandora) on Tuesday, April 05, 2005 - 11:15 pm: Exmoor? Dartmoor? A City? town? Plymouth? Exeter? none of those - but to save more list processing, the place in question is Torrington, in north Devon Is there anything extra terrestrial involved? no (A waxwork of Ann Widdicombe!} all along, down along, out along... By Lynne (Lynne) on Tuesday, April 05, 2005 - 11:15 pm: It's all available on eBay now - with prices going through the roof as they anticipate them being collector's items and doubtless you can also find on eBay a man who will mend the hole in the roof for next to nothing |
