Is it relevant that many years have passed? since Herman did this something which affected him in a minor way? or between the two games? is Herman's age relevant? or is it specifically relevant that Herman has been marooned for several years? is getting marooned the thing that he did? |

Was the effect still minor at the start of the first game? the end? start of the second? end? did it become more noticeable as time passed? Did he do the something before he got marooned? or after? Is Herman's sanity relevant? |

Was the effect still minor at the start of the first game? now that I think about it, I guess you couldn't call the eventual effect of what he did minor, but when he did it was a minor event the end? no start of the second? no, in fact bigger end? it got even bigger did it become more noticeable as time passed? physically? no Did he do the something before he got marooned? this or after? Is Herman's sanity relevant? no |

Hmmm I wonder if we need a clue here or should I get my ancient 486 up and running to replay Monkey Island 1? Toothrots relevant past: Was it mentioned in Monkey Island 1? Stated by him in conversation by him? By someone else? Not stated by anyone but noted by observation? Regarding: His family/lineage/relationships? His experiences? His possessions? His personality? His education? His physique? Something else? |

ARe any of the notes around the island left by Herman relevant? a calander? |
