By Dref (Dref) on Saturday, May 28, 2005 - 09:23 pm: Would she have benefited by saying her glasses were unsatisfactory? not more than otherwise By John Morahan (Wunderland) on Sunday, May 29, 2005 - 12:46 pm: Did she already have a pair of glasses? yes but irrelevant did she actually need a new pair? probably did she want one? uncertain Did the offer apply to a complete pair of glasses? yes just the frames? just the lenses? Could more than one person have availed of the offer? yes Could one person have availed of the offer more than once? yes |

Was the offer only available for a limited time? Was she aware of the offer? while it was available? Would she have had to pay for some associated service? Was she in the same country as the opticians? the same general area? |

Was the offer limited to only senior citizens? Citizens beyond a certain age? Citizens below a certain age? Or was it an offer of a discount which is corresponding to one's age (eg- A person who is 60 years old gets a 60% discount) Or was it an offer to buy a lifelong supply of glasses for the price of one pair or maybe just a bit more? And she didnt think it was worthwhile to her, cos she might not need so many changes of glasses? |

So you are saying that even if she was aware of the oppurtunity (which is irrelevant) the offer wasnt of much use to her? Was it because of: -The condition of her eyes? -The prescription of her lenses? -She was the owner of the store anyways? -She was on her death bed? -There was some limitation clause in the offer which made her ineligible? -She didnt even have 4% of the money? -She got her glasses for free or at a very discounted price anyways because of some reason/sponsor? -Her glasses were anyways covered in the insurance policy. -Some Physical condition of hers? Was she eligible for the 96% discount? Did she meet all the other qualifications of the offer? |

Was there some "small print" which excluded people over a certain age? (presumably they would need to exclude anyone over 99 anyway) if so, was she too old? |
