"...the commodities are up?" really? hadn't heard that one. "...the cookie's crumbled?" maybe, but no "...they were made by a goose?" I call FOWL! "...it's time to show your cards?" er, no "...gravity is working?" when does gravity not work on earth? "...the lumberjack was short?" My college mascot was the Lumberjack By (Stuccosalt) on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 - 08:13 pm: they're closer to the dip. if the dip's down too... the computer won't work. we have that all the time here. it's time to send eric estrada a pick-me-up bouquet. LOL By Haenlomal (Haenlomal) on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 - 08:55 pm: "...don't pick them off the floor to eat?" good advice, but not relevant to this puzzle. By Tim A. Dowd (Bodo) on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 - 08:59 pm: "...wait for 'em to dry before you pick 'em up." this actually could apply, in an -ish-ish sort of way, but don't let that mislead you... |

...the puss is gonna get wet? I haven't heard that one before either... ...somebody's going to step in it? Surprisingly, closest to OTRT so far, but laterally speaking, of course. ...the dollar bills better be folded right? or look like they've never been folded, depending on how sensitive some of these automatic currency readers are... |

Is this another pun, like your "On the other hand...." puzzle? Chips: French fries? Potatoe chips? Computer chips? Wood chips? Chocolate chips? Poker chips? Golf strokes? Down: Directionally? On the floor? On a table? Below me? Below my waist? Below my head? Am "I" relevant? Below some other thing? Down physically? Or down in some characteristic? Price? Amount? Feeling blue? Down wind? |

By Ian (Image) on Thursday, June 16, 2005 - 02:47 am: Is this another pun, like your "On the other hand...." puzzle? rather so. Chips: French fries? Potatoe chips? Computer chips? Wood chips? Chocolate chips? Poker chips? Golf strokes? none of these Down: Directionally? this On the floor? On a table? Below me? Below my waist? Below my head? Am "I" relevant? not in this puzzle Below some other thing? some of this too Down physically? yes Or down in some characteristic? Price? Amount? Feeling blue? Down wind? none of the rest By Lisa (Dlcygnet) on Thursday, June 16, 2005 - 06:52 am: ...You gotta lose all feelin? -song lyrics ...politicians turn to faith? ...the lawn gets fertilized? LOL... keep going with this one, actually...you're in the right forest ...life sucks, get over it? ...it's gonna stink? well, it could very well do so... By Lisa (Dlcygnet) on Thursday, June 16, 2005 - 07:27 am: ...watch your step closely? ...watch your back? none of these |

So this pertains to fertilization? Are they on a feild? Is this person in a hole? I assume correct me if I am wrong there are two people/animals here do they know each other or is that irrel? Now for some truly at srandom I'm pulling traws questions.... Did they murder someone and one is telling the other cover it up? Is the government involved? Did you make this up or it actually happened? Is it something that people do every day? Is it unusual? Are they on the job? |

By Lana (Lana) on Friday, June 17, 2005 - 12:24 am: So this pertains to fertilization? fertilization is more an afterthought to the idea. Are they FA on a field? maybe--irrel. Is this person FA in a hole? probably not... I wouldn't pursue this line of reasoning... I assume correct me if I am wrong you are wrong, or more accurately, this is somewhat irrelevant ---> there are two people/animals here do they know each other or is that irrel? irrel. Now for some truly at srandom I'm pulling traws questions.... go for it! Did they murder someone and one is telling the other cover it up? no. Is the government involved? no Did you make this up or it actually happened? yope Is it something that people do every day? quite likely, but 'people' is irrelevant. Is it unusual? the phrase is logical, but not something that would normally be heard or 'connected', thus making it ideal lateral puzzle fodder. Are they on the job? FA, there is no "they" involved. |
