By Lisa (Dlcygnet) on Sunday, June 12, 2005 - 05:46 am: Was Wendel the first penguin to hatch of all the other penguin eggs? Nope.So he would have been the only baby penguin... until a couple minutes later another egg hatched? By Shawn Franchi (Doctapeppa) on Sunday, June 12, 2005 - 06:11 am: He was the only penguin...in a certain place. All we need is where. |

Okay, so he was the fastest penguin to the islands where they migrate to during the winter? How about the Falkland islands? That's where one breed of penguin goes. |

That's where one breed of penguin goes. Really? Cool. By Torgeir Apeland (Abc) on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 - 09:17 am: Are we looking for a geographical location? Yesish. Or a type of location? There are many smaller locations inside this location, but it is a specific location. By Shawn Franchi (Doctapeppa) on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 - 04:25 pm: Anywhere near the Equator? Yes, Wendell was near the equator. Explore. |

Wow... Eliot really was close. The galapagos? Aren't there whales in that area? Was Wendel the first to get eaten by a whale? Was he the first into the water when it was time to migrate back? Was Wendel the first male penguin to take over the nesting responsibilities? |

By Lisa (Dlcygnet) on Thursday, June 16, 2005 - 07:18 am: Wow... Eliot really was close. Was I? Thank you. The galapagos? Yes.Aren't there whales in that area? Yes, but irr. Was Wendel the first to get eaten by a whale? Nope. Was he the first into the water when it was time to migrate back? No. Was Wendel the first male penguin to take over the nesting responsibilities? No, but kudos to him if he did. By Lisa (Dlcygnet) on Thursday, June 16, 2005 - 07:19 am: ERRR... I mean Shawn was really close. Sorry. Oh. Yes. Insanely close. By Shawn Franchi (Doctapeppa) on Saturday, June 18, 2005 - 01:18 am: Was Wendell on a different island? Yes.Isabela Island? That's the largest right? Yes. |

Wild shot... Tide relevant? In the sense that all the penguin were together on an island, then due to high tide the island was somewhat "cut" in two by the water, and Wendell was the only one on one of the two half-islands... |

Is a coral reef relevant? Any sort of feature that is normally under water except during really low tide? Was Wendal captured by humans? Was he on a boat for a couple minutes? Does this riddle involve getting tagged/having a tag examined? Was he the first penguin to get his picture taken that season? |

Did he simply get lost while swimming and wind up on an island or part of the island where none of his buddies were? |

Did he simply get lost while swimming and wind up on an island or part of the island where none of his buddies were? Yes, and there is something in particular about that part of the island which makes him unique... |
