Okay ...

Did you tell me to explore because I used the word bureucracy?

They take away robots? Robot parts? Airplane parts? Defective parts? Toxic waste? Scrap? Scrap metal? Outdated technology? Electronics? Finished products? Finished parts? Prototypes? More than one article or type of item? Items at all?

Umm ... Is taking things from your workplace a part of their job description or is it one of their annoying habits? Are they thieves?

This puzzle is making me feel stupid.

The finished items need to meet absurd specifications or need to have an absurd list of specifications attached? Would that be the reason they used your printer?

Finished products? Entire airplanes?

Do these guys supply airports with spare parts and/or airplanes?

Finished products? Depends on who you ask. Entire airplanes? No.

Do these guys supply airports with spare parts and/or airplanes? No.

... you don't like them because they take away the things you worked so long on? No. At least, none of MY stuff. They just got up and running about a month ago and my building happens to be their base of operations. The only people that ever came into my area were looking for a pop machine or the printer. (Also just side stories, not relevant)

So they move completed assemblies from your area to a warehouse? Or to where they'll be used?

Unions relevant?

CLARIFICATION:

Unions relevant? Yope

Hint:
A little background... There has been a strike going on for the last month by the machinists. They just voted to end the strike. These people came in when the strike started and are leaving now that it's over. No, they aren't scabs. Would they still have done this job if the strike hadn't happened... that's debateable. And you guys are going to find out why :)

Do they move things to an external facility where they are assembled or otherwise worked on?
ie, somewhere other than the place they would usually go for your guys to work on them?

These people that bug you, are they taking things away in order to test them?

Would it help us to find out more about what kind of airplane part they are taking?

This noise they make,
could they do their job without making the noise?
And this is what infuriates you?

This noise they make,
could they do their job without making the noise? Oh yeah.
And this is what infuriates you? 1 of the things. Yes.

The noise they make: talking? singing? whistling (off-key?) making a racket moving the components? knocking into things?

Do they talk loudly? constantly? about controversial subjects? about something that you don't really want to hear about? Is what they're saying offensive? objectionable? vulgar?

Does their talking interfere with what you are trying to accomplish? with something that you need to hear? with your concentration?

Are they talking about their sex lives? women? politics? the striking machinists? Do we need to find out what they're talking about?
Lisa (Dlcygnet)

Are they talking about their sex lives? NO. women? NO. What kind of company do you think I work for? People get fired over stuff like that. politics? Yope. the striking machinists? Yope. Do we need to find out what they're talking about? It would help you figure out what it is they DO. And how it relates. There are two conversations that you're on the tail of. One pertains to all the questions here. The other pertains to the Yopeish "Whooping" they do (more like 'encouraging' each other.)

So they're not testing the parts.
Are they disposing of faulty ones?
Simply transporting them somewhere?
Is it relevant by what means they transport them?
Is it relevant how far away they transport them?

They're taking the parts away for assembly, I think you said? So are they simply moving them throgh your area on the way to the loading dock? Does the Whooping/encouraging come in because the parts are very large? very heavy? very awkward to move?

or are they small and easy to move and the movers are fooling around while they work?

Oh, and in my experience, the fact that people can get fired for stuff like discussing their sex lives doesn't mean that temps (or people who know that they're in a temporary gig,) won't do it anyway. But that's neither here nor there.:)

Is "Ger 'er done" one of the things they say that bothers you?

Noish.

Is "Ger 'er done" one of the things they say that bothers you? YES! They were yelling that at each other every 5 minutes (not kidding) on their last day there. They were pushing to get all of these parts out and then erase any trace that they'd ever been there before the people on strike got back. So yeah, that's ONE habit they had that was annoying.
