Is the person simply looking into a mirror? A couple mirrors? And thus there are a couple extra of them? Some other method of creating the illusion of three people where there is only one? |

Is "it" a real person? a could-be real person? a fictitiuos character? a generic person? a person at all? Is it a god or goddess? (in that case: Triglav? "Neptun in three faces"?) |

By Rachel (Myth) on Wednesday, December 07, 2005 - 06:19 pm: three topics? no title of a book/thread/puzzle relevant? no your previous post was a little closer to the right forest... I think there's a terminology distinction that hasn't been explored that's not being spotted that could make this a lot easier... review the earlier posts and chase some loose ends... |

:/ so, for title... an honourific? Right.... based on the questions earlier... Is it you who has the three titles/whatever they are? Or you who bestowed them? Are these the kind of titles that are bestowed? "I knight you, Sir Robin of Camelot" Or of the kind that are earned? "Bob Bobson, First Class Honours" Or of the type that are given unseremoniously? "He's a real sour-puss" "Joe's the new Assistent Manager, Level 3, with a Mace of Godly Thunder +6!" Or something that can be won? "Hockey Champion P. Erson" |

By Ian (Image) on Wednesday, December 07, 2005 - 11:04 pm: :/ compliment taken... ...although I really don't think we're far from getting there... so, for title... an honourific? no Right.... based on the questions earlier... Is it you who has the three titles/whatever they are? Yes, but any one person would work just as well. Or you who bestowed them? in one case, yes, but may mislead Are these the kind of titles that are bestowed? "I knight you, Sir Robin of Camelot" nothing like this Or of the kind that are earned? "Bob Bobson, First Class Honours" nor this Or of the type that are given unseremoniously? "He's a real sour-puss" not this, either "Joe's the new Assistent Manager, Level 3, with a Mace of Godly Thunder +6!" great idea, but no. Or something that can be won? "Hockey Champion P. Erson" sadly, no. try more laterally vague versions of 'title', not limiting yourself regarding perspective |

By Mosquito (Mosquito) on Thursday, December 08, 2005 - 04:09 pm: more versions of title - deeds or other documents of ownership? no -- my apologies -- the original concept of 'title' as pertaining to a person was closest... the answer can be technically categorized as a title(s), but this will very likely mislead, as it has done already... |

By Ian (Image) on Saturday, December 10, 2005 - 02:12 pm: Bud? Pal? Friend? Dude? Guy? you are correct in getting more casual, but there's a bit of a lateral roadblock that's leading to an FA here... Something you'd call a friend? An accuantance? A stranger? none of these, but exploring a certain avenue from here might prove useful... I really wish I could give a hint here, but there's not really one that I could give at this point without giving it away, except that all of these titles are from the wrong perspective. Also, remember the title... I've been misleading you slightly by not correcting the "singular" use of 'title', rather than 'titles'. I'll let you chew on this for awhile and see if I can come up with another hint if necessary... |
