Was this an imitation of one duck that took three men to do? Or did they each do the same thing?
Were they drunk? Or just silly?

Did it involve quacking? Flapping 'wings'? Was a play on words or misunderstanding involved?

Playing some game, and when told to duck, they imitated a duck instead of ducking to avoid getting hit?

Or did they each do the same thing? Yes
Were they drunk? No
Or just silly? Most people would probably agree to a reluctant "yes"

They went hunting with Dick Cheney? No. However, this reminds me of one of the most dangerous activities one can undertake in Norway during autumn: Run madly around in the forests shouting "I am a moose! I am a moose!" That is tantamount to suicide.

Did the duck imitation involve water?
Did the imitation involve unusual movement of:
the legs?
the arms?
the head?

Is the relevant type of duck a literal species or breed of duck?
Or is it a metaphorical type of duck such as "sitting" or "lame"?

Is the type of duck:

Living?
Non Living?
Unique?
male?
female?

Someone dressed up as a duck?
A mechanical device?

Talking of Moose, it reminds me of a previous puzzle which seems to be etched in my memory. Isn't it peculiar how the memory seems to store such useful information? ;-)

You mean, like when you effortlessly remember the registration number of your family's first car that was scrapped 30 years ago, but can't - no matter how hard you try - remember your own social security number?

******************** SPOILER ******************

The notorious gang of bandits in the Donald Duck comic again was up to no good as they broke into Scrooge's money storehouse and managed to get Scrooge himself at gunpoint. At last, having secured Scrooge's fortune for themselves, they tried to dive into the enormous riches from everal metres height the way they knew Scrooge used to do. Obviously, like so many other things in life, it wasn't as easy to do as it would look from seeing a pro do it. They were knocked unconscious as their heads crashed into the piles of coins. So once again, Scrooge was saved from ruin at the hands of - perhaps - the world's dumbest criminals.

Nice one Torgeir. The incident sounds familiar, I'm sure I have read that comic at some point!
