So it is a software program, specifically a bit of code that works on your computer, but not on someone elses? Are you speaking to/about someone specific, or other people in genral? Did you write the code? Was it something you bought? Something someone gave you(not as gift)? Lent you? Gave as a gift? Like a game? Spyware prevention? Word processer? Other? Relevent who it does not work for? Does it not work for the person/people totally? Partialy? Work but with errors? Slower? |

Yes SPOILER Me thinks you have gotten the general gist. I am a coder. I work on a coder's machine where what I write OFTEn works on my computer, but not on others, thus the phrase "Well, it works on MINE!" is often heard and looked down upon by bosses, particularly mine. Oh well... back to the coder's drawing table! |
