The person saying it relevant? If so, human? adult? male? foot: the part of the body living things use to walk with? it: is it something that can be seen? heard? experienced? Would it have gone on forever if this person hadn't lifted his foot? would it have gone on for a while longer? What was the time period in between the lifting of the foot and the ending--immediately? a few minutes? an hour? few hours? days? months? years? |

Piano? Harp? Some other instrument with pedals? Was your foot on the forte pedal, sustaining the notes, so when you lifted your foot, the music ended? |

Piano? This one! Harp? Some other instrument with pedals? Was your foot on the forte pedal, sustaining the notes, so when you lifted your foot, the music ended? YES! You got it! ************SPOILER************ During a performance of our orchestra, the last note of the piece was played by me on the piano. It was sustained, and at the signal of the conductor, I lifted my foot from the pedal, and the music ended. Followed by an APPLAUSE by the audience, as in the title. Pretty easy, huh? This was my first. Thanks everyone for playing! Actually, you're only 3 people. :D |
