Will was tired and dirty after a long day working in his garden. So, he went inside, picked up a card and began shaking it violently. Why would he do this? |

Was it a card that you would find in your wallet? Postcard? Was he trying to make something happen by shaking it? Or was it just out of emotion? Is his garden at his house? Did he want to be there? |

Had he been gardening? Writing a book in a deckchair? Burying dead bodies or other evidence of evil deeds? Was he a full time gardener? Was he a reluctant gardener? Was he planting, turning over the earth, weeding, landscaping, mowing the lawn, cutting the hedges, trying to get rid of moles, picking fruit, digging up vegetables? |

Would most people refer to the card as a card? Did it have any picture on it? Words? On both sides? Was he trying to do something to the card by shaking it? Or was he trying to affect something else by shaking the card? Was he happy after gardening? Angry? Or just tired? |

Is the card quite commonplace? Are they readily available to buy? Would the card be bought singly? More than one at a time? Are they sold separately or in sets? Would you buy several over a lifetime? Would you give one as a birthday present to someone? Or would they think it odd that you would do that? Are they expensive? Would children have one? Are they collectible? Have they been around for long? Just this century? Throughout the 20th century? 19th century? Earlier? Did it make him feel less tired? Release any frustration? Make him laugh? Make somebody else laugh? Would an onlooker think 'what a good idea, I must buy one of those'? Or would they be bemused? |
