If you are a reader of slashdot or similiar, you might already now the answer to this one... What recent patent has been taken out on mobile phones that is functional, sensible, but will not require any significant change in manufacturing processes, design or technology? |

Is this actually a lateral puzzle? I read somedays back about a patent in China (or somewhere in East Asia) where you could have two SIM cards in single handset, meaning two different phones within one. Am I allowed to cheat and search the slashdot? ;-) |

Is this actually a lateral puzzle? Yes I read somedays back about a patent in China (or somewhere in East Asia) where you could have two SIM cards in single handset, meaning two different phones within one. Nope - this is a stunningly simple patent, but makes good sense Am I allowed to cheat and search the slashdot? ;-) I'm currently monitoring all IP connections to slashdot's server, and cross-correlating them with connections to lateralpuzzles.com - your crimes will find you out ;) |

Hello. Newbie to the site. Please bear with me. Related to the material of the keypad? Does this improve the speed of typing? comfort of typing? accuracy of typing on the mobile phone? Would the keypad look any different from the current mobile phone keypads (ie, the layout of the numbers and letters) Would this change be feasible to implement on all phones, or only on some high-end phones? |
