SPOILER: This man was a well-known business executive whose company stopped paying for first class; all personnel, including executives, would have to ride coach. For a recent flight to a conference in Paris from Los Angeles, our man decided to avoid the "humiliation" of flying coach by having a friend of his put him in an oblong crate and ship him to his hotel in Paris. However, this friend forgot to pack any food, and since the executive had diabetes, he died of low blood sugar. |
