Was there a situation where "thinking with your heart" could be taken literally? |

Was there a situation where "thinking with your heart" could be taken literally? If you mean, is the heart used as an example/object for my thought process then, no |

Anything to do with an ancient belief that our mind is in the heart, not in the brain? Were you talking or reading about an animal whose organs are not fully differentiated? Does it matter who said the phrase? Or was it simply the fact that the parts of this expression were reversed? |

Two things come to mind: 1. "Chicken brain", because a lot of people believe that chickens are among the stupidest domestic animals. 2. Dinosaurs, because of a theory that their motor control system was split between brain in the head and a secondary center near the end of the tail. On the other hand, is it related to a fish from the title? |

Is fish's heart so close to it's head, that it is practically "in the head"? Something like a monkfish? |
