Alice broke into the house of the wb-m. Alice replace the lightbulb in the living room with a non working one. Alice was able to do some snooping and when the wb-m returned early she was able to hide in the shadows and leave when the wb-m went to the basement/garage to get a replacement. | ||

So as stated, Alice brought both of the items. Did she show the wbm the electrical one and showed him/her it worked? or did she show the wbm the other? If she only showed only either one, did she aimed to trick the wbm or was it just his/her bad luck the non-electrical one was picked? Do we need to find out who is the someone else who brought alice to the wbm's house? Did Alice try to escape at all? If so, was it because the wbm used the non-electrical one that she could? Was Alice actually trying to tempt the wbm to attempt to kill her? I probably won't stop asking, haha, I shall leave the others till next time then | ||

Are they hard? Soft? Spongey? Designed for use in water? On a flat surface? Designed to be hidden? Are they identical to touch and smell as well as sight? is she possibly pretending to be an ex-convict (so that she would have to wear these tracking devices?)? maybe to get closer to these kidnappers and do a story on them? maybe she was an undercover journalist? did the kidnappers figure out that she was a journalist? did they figure out that she was wearing the devices? if so, did they know she had two devices, or did they think she had only one? maybe one device (the electrical one) was hidden, so that when the kidnappers took the non-electrical one, they thought they had taken the only device she had, not realizing she had two? if she is an undercover journalist, this is reminding me of someone famous who was an undercover journalist who found some amazing stories by pretending to be involved with whatever he was covering (football, motorcycle gangs, etc.) the name "paper tiger" and george are sticking out in my mind, but I could be compeletely wrong! | ||

SPOILER: Our heroine was an investigative journalist. Her agency gave her a GPS ring so that, in case she fell into trouble, she could be located and rescued. Realising that the ring could easily be stolen, she decided to have a second ring made, which looked exactly like the GPS ring only lacked GPS features. When she actually was kidnapped, her kidnappers stole the decoy ring on her finger, thinking it was the GPS ring. Since she still had her GPS ring hidden on her person, it remained undiscovered by the kidnappers and thus she was rescued. | ||
