Would her part involve speaking at all? would she be a host/ emcee? a public speaker? would she be doing an act of some sort? a sketch routine? a skit? vaudeville? does Septima have a speech impediment? lisp? stuttering? total random guess: Septima wants to be on stage and expresses this to a friend. Fred hears a speech impediment and thinks, "her speech impediment would really enhance this act..." so Fred hires Septima to do a particular act so the audience will think her impediment is part of the act and really think the act is hilarious. | ||

Actually, I think the credit should go to Demon_fox09 for the solve. I was thinking either she demonstrated skills in improv or memory, but since demon_fox09 beat me to the punch about the memory, I asked the other question. Nice puzzle. |
