Well I never thought I would see so many Cola logos over there? no Well I never thought I would see Jesus over there? yessish Anyway does it start with "Well I never thought I would see"? that's not the important bit ********* SPOILER ********* The Arabic lettering for Coca Cola looks a bit like the word 'Jesus'. Yes, it's a bit florid, and the letters overlap each other a bit. But as I asked to my family "Does that look like 'Jesus' or does that look like 'Jesus'? - they agreed: as does someone else when I Googled it. Of course, being a Muslim/Berber country and the fact that the lettering is read from right to left unlike our left to right, then it's unlikely that many other people would see it that way. It was a wonderful mixture of cultures in Morocco. I can honestly say I saw (crates of) 'Jesus' on a donkey. I don't want to link directly to a private site from here, but if you do a Google image search for 'Coca Cola Arabic Jesus' you will see find a Flicker photo page with the same observation of the lettering on an awning. | ||
