Ok, at this point, I must say that the static isn't relevant to the puzzle anymore. It was relevant earlier because I wanted someone to guess that it was a TV. Since that's already been guessed, there isn't any relevance to it anymore. |

So he's emancipated because he watches TV? Yes, but he's not just watching TV. Just that one time? In this puzzle, yes, but it can happen more than once to many people. Or in general? Please rephrase. Does he see something on TV that makes his belief stronger? Yesish. weaker? No. |

So he touches the screen while watching a televangelist.YES! This is exactly what he was doing Was he touching a particular image on the screen? of the televangelist? of Jesus? the bible? None of these. Was he doing something the televangelist was saying to do? Yes! something about a way to be set free? Yes! ***************SPOILER************************* The man was watching a televangelist, and he touches the screen, as this is what the televangelist asks him to do, after his speech. The televangelist was preaching about ways to set the soul "free" from all negativity, and the man feels "emancipated" when he touches the screen. Good job Suido! And thanks to everyone who took interest :-) Answering questions has been a lot of fun on this one, and I'm glad this wasn't as much of a quickie as my previous ones! |

Good one--and if he shuffled his feet when going to the television, he could have felt a little more static when touching the screen--as in a static shock! |
