LoL damia, i was just about to suggest that :D Been at this for ages to no avail... Have a few vague questions though... UNESCO ---> OUNCES ... relevant? A friend ---> pal? marra? bro? chum? Married ---> nuptials? wed? conjugal? It's obviously cryptic so sorry for being so crude... but this one really has me, mainly because of the (7)... too short for a standard insertion type clue. |

Beat head against wall, then type ACRONYM. (Sheesh! Good clue, but a strict Ximenean would add 'for example' or 'say' after UNESCO.) |

Try opening the door. I've never solved cryptics before, so I was quite lost (and didn't dare venture a guess, for fear of what would happen when all of our tries are used up). Now that I get them, though, they look quite fun. |

I sense deep disapproval from DeathAtEaster so I shall take a short break from this one :-P Hey, not true! Try opening the door. Nice try. It won't work. I've never solved cryptics before, so I was quite lost (and didn't dare venture a guess, for fear of what would happen when all of our tries are used up). And fear you should. ^.^ Now that I get them, though, they look quite fun. It's like a jigsaw, you just need to know what to look for! |

Okie I'll keep going then :-D sorry for being crude abt cryptics! Look around the room. Anything else around you that could be relevant? Maybe you weren't looking close enough! Examine the keyboard. Look underneath. Examine the piece of paper. Is there a light in the room? Hold it up against the light if you can, and see if anything appears! Try simply pressing enter. Hmm...maybe nothing engraved = nothing needed to be inputted? Or is the LACK of info = another cryptic clue... Will we ever know?! |

Okie I'll keep going then :-D sorry for being crude abt cryptics! No probs. Anyway THE NEXT CODE IS NOTHING TO DO WITH A NEW CRYPTIC CLUE. *Cough, cough* Look around the room. Anything else around you that could be relevant? Maybe you weren't looking close enough! Tough, I wasn't :-p Examine the keyboard. Already been done. Look underneath. Nothing. Examine the piece of paper. Is there a light in the room? Hold it up against the light if you can, and see if anything appears! Tough, nothing new is discovered. Try simply pressing enter. "Unable to accept answer." Hmm...maybe nothing engraved = nothing needed to be inputted? Nice try actually! Or is the LACK of info = another cryptic clue... No. Nice try! Will we ever know?! Depends. Nice try with all of these. |

This just got very tough very quickly. There seems to be a running theme of friendship going on: China, Mate, Partner, Friend, Pal, Ally, Crony. Surely too many to be a coincidence. Is this on the right lines? |

Do we have to key in something that means "Friend" or "Friendship"? Maybe we actually have to type friend or friendship, try tht pls. Type HELLO, or HI. Since the error is unable to accept answer, is it an issue with the format? Is the answer alphanumeric? just numeric? Some other key on the keyboard? Case-sensitive? Is it significant that this is the fifth door? |
