Was "it" somewhere difficult to reach? under the sea? in space? Is it relevant who owned it before "he" got it? Did anyone own it? Did he pay $100 to the previous owner? Or did he buy something with the $100 which enabled him to get it? "they" spent a lot of money - $1000? $10,000? $100,000? $1,000,000? |

Could anyone have obtained "it" by spending the $100 in the same way he did? Or did it require some particular skill? some good timing? Were "they" who tried to obtain it his contemporaries? |

OK, no one else is interested, so... SPOILER The country they were voting in was really intolerant of political stuff, so when it came to voting, instead of voting for the campaigners who had spent probably millions, they voted for an unknown candidate who changed his name to "None of the above" and the voters voted for him out of spite! I was only guessing that changing your name would cost less than 100$ though... |
