Every Monday there are lots of people who are hard at it, but by Friday those same people have thinned out considerably, and this pattern will repeat itself each week from Monday to Friday.

What's going on?

Trying to lose weight?

Does this take place in a specific place? In Hong Kong? At an airport?
Are the people the same people each week?
Will the ones who are hard at it on Friday be hard at it again the next Monday?
Do the people stop because they have completed some task? They realise they are unable to complete it? They realise it's pointless?

If they keep at it, will they eventually finish it?

Do they "thin out" because they lose enthusiasm? motivation? money?

Can this in principle be done everywhere? only outdoors? only indoors? only in certain types of buildings?
Is any equipment necessary to do this? If so, is this equipment only intended for doing this?
Or can it be done using only your body?
Could a blind person do it? A deaf person? A paraplegic?

********* SPOILER ***********

The free commuters' magazine in London has a sodoku puzzle each day, starting from Easy on a Monday to something like Fiendish on a Friday. I would give up by about Tuesday if I was a London commuter. Only the diehards stick it out until Friday
.

Thank you one and all
