Legal Services ? Manufacturing / Distributions ? Medical / Health Services ? Politics / Government / Military ? Security / Law Enforcement? Sales / Marketing ? Technical / Science / Engineering ? Recap/hint Bill is a criminal. It is highly relevant what kind of criminal, so explore. Something happens to him, that makes him scared. At the scene is his mother and then, some time later 2-3 other persons. There is also one more relevant person in this puzzle. Everyone's job is relevant, except for Bill's mother. So what are the jobs of the 2-3 people and the non-present person? I seem to have made a slight blooper earlier, as I overlooked one of the entries on the list of jobs. The 2-3 people should be Security/Law enforcement. The last, non-present person is working in Food service (or at least this was the closest one on the list). Find out exactly what his job is. |

Hint: As I mentioned before, I couldn't find this job on the list, even though it is possibly the most common jobs around. The person in this story is working with food and possibly something else, but similar jobs exists for other types of goods as well. I would assume most of us deal with a person working in this field at least once every day. Obviously the list needs to be amended, lol |

To freshen up this puzzle. Bill is a criminal, he's involved in fraud. He and his mother are at the scene and a while later 2-3 police show up. There is one more person that is relevant for the puzzle, a grocery store owner. The exact nature of Bill's crime is relevant. Some may call it swindling. It has to do with getting loads of money quickly. |

Did the grocer blame mother for trying to cheat him? Yes Yelling foul words at her? Probably Did the angry mother hit Bill when she returned home, bruising him? And yes Were the police called? Yes, after a little while By the grocer? The mother? Bill himself (to protect himself from his motherīs attack)? But by none of these. It's almost solved, just find out who called the police. Hint: His mother was kicking up a fuzz when she came back from the grocer. She was not quiet. |

The neighbors called the police? Yes, this was the last piece. This is a true story I read in the paper a while ago about a man from Hungary or Bulgaria. He was making counterfeit money, and decided to replace some of them with his own mother's cash. She went to the grocer to shop, but was told off by the grocer for handing over counterfeit money. Understanding what her son had done, she furiously went back to the appartment and started giving out to him, and also hitting him, because of the embarrasment he had put her through. The noise became so bad that the neighbours had to call the police. And when they showed up, he eagerly admitted to his crime so that they would arrest him and take him away from his mother's rage. |
