As one of my other puzzles is about to be spoiled due to Arek Fu's inspired brilliance here's another one for you. I'm no literary scholar so why is it that I can't wait to read something by Aldous Huxley |

By Aldous you mean the author of "A Brave New World," right? Is this a book? Essay? Something else? Does it have anything to do with... -The title? -plot? -subject? -characters? -the physical item itself? Could this apply to items by authors other than Aldous Huxley? Is the item's format (regular, large print, CD, etc) relevant? Did you buy, borrow, steal the item or were given it as a gift? Are you expecting to pay to read it? Did you see a friend who owns it or is reading it? Was it recommended to you, or did someone tell you not to read it? Do you want to read the entire item or are you looking for a specific passage? Do you want to read the item for its own sake (because you like it/want to) or is there a more specific reason? Are you assigned to read it? Required? Are the following relevant: -You? -Other people? -Huxley -The item itself -Is the term "literary scholar" relevant? -A review of the item -An illustration -Is the title relevant? If so, is a specific quote from the item relevant? A quote from elsewhere? |

By "can't wait to read it" do you mean "I really want to read it" or are you for some reason literally unable to wait to read it? If you are literally unable to wait, is it because a person is forcing you to? If so, would the consequences if you don't be family issues? Minor injury? Serious injury? Death? just annoyance? Or, am I totally wrong and there is some outside force that is making it literally impossible for you to not read it? |

A calendar with a daily quotation? Is Huxley's quote at the start of your holiday? perfect so................. Spolier Yes my desk calendar which my children bought me for christmas is of the quote a day variety. In this case an insult a day. Mr Huxley's quote is on Thursday 26th June which is my last day of work before departing on my annual fortnight in France. So basically running this puzzle was my way of saying to you all Nah nah nah I'm going on holidays soon Btw Huxley's quote is "She was a professional athlete -- of the tongue" although it doesn't mention to whom he was referring . My favourite one is by Henny Youngman : "I like to run into you again .... when i'm driving and you're walking"
