Most male rappers make it quite clear that they consider themselves "manly" men. In fact, hip hop lyrics are quite often (to put it lightly) sexist. However, funnily enough, almost every rapper I know of does something that is feminine, and very often at that! Can you guess what this is? Probably a quickie. |

Interesting! Does it have to do directly with rapping? Singing? Personal hygiene? Clothing? Their homes? Their cars? Something involving other men? |

Feminine endings (in the poetic sense)? Feminine rhyme? Did I mention I hate you Woodworm? :-D *****SPOILER****** Should have known better than to attempt a poetic puzzle with Woodworm stalking these forums; damn his brilliance!! A feminine rhyme is a rhyme that matches two or more syllables, usually at the end of respective lines. Often the final syllable is unstressed. In hip hop music, especially since the 1990s, the use of feminine rhyme in rapping (often referred to by the colloquial terms "multis" or "multirhymes" — a contraction of "multisyllabic rhymes") is considered a sign of technical skill, and rap artists (such as Big Pun, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Big L, Kool G Rap, Chamillionaire, Dr. Dre, Redman, and R.A. The Rugged Man) have been known to string together large sequences of complex rhyme patterns. Eminem made extensive use of the technique in his early work: "Praying for sleep, dreaming with a watering mouth, wishing for a better life for my daughter and spouse, in this slaughtering house, caught up in bouts with the root of all evil. I've seen it turn beautiful people cruel and deceitful, and make them do sh*t illegal..." I will be locked up in my attic concocting a puzzle that will take longer than 1 host post to solve -_- |

Dang. I've only heard it referred to as multis, even by English teachers! You taught me something. Nice puzzles. |

Aaaargh! Sorry! Should have emailed, but I had no idea that was going to be the answer. Sometimes you just hit a good one with your first guess, and sometimes you can stare at it for months and never come close. And the solving time is no reflection on the ingenuity of the puzzle. |
