A very interesting way?
Is a salute relevant?
Military relevant?
Everyone = all persons of the world?
Everyone watching = A finite number of people who have the opportunity to view something?

Adolf Hitler relevant?

Anything having to do with that (in-)famous picture of a soldier in a kilt sitting next to the queen where the kilt is not smoothed out correctly and a certain "something" is showing?

Also, may I invoke the LTPF list of countries?

Since we're going to Scotland, are kilts and no underwear involved?

Has he lost his mind?
Can he see or is he blind?
Can he walk at all?
Or if he moves will he fall?
Is he alive or dead?
Has he thoughts within his head?
We'll just pass him there. Why should we even care?
Did he give the president of Scotland the phalanges?

Since we're going to Scotland, are kilts and no underwear involved? Yes.
During a tattoo (the military marching, not having paint subcutaneously injected)? Close enough -- actually changing the guard at Edinburgh Castle.

Has he lost his mind? No.
Can he see or is he blind? He can see.
Can he walk at all? Yes.
Or if he moves will he fall? Possibly.
Is he alive or dead? Alive.
Has he thoughts within his head? Yes.
We'll just pass him there. Why should we even care? Not a Yes/No question.
Did he give the president of Scotland the phalanges? Scotland hasn't got a President.

Did this happen in [LTPF list of centuries]? 1947. As of today, Scotland's military is integrated with the British Armed Forces, right? Since the 1700s. Is that relevant? No. I don't believe I am familiar with Scottish military uniforms... I've mentioned that kilts are relevant -- which are the major difference between Highland uniform and normal BDUs, and usually only worn on special occasions.

***************Spoiler**********

Author George MacDonald Fraser's alter ego, Lieutenant Dand MacNeill of the Gordon Highlanders, is changing the guard at Edinburgh Castle, circa 1947. A royal duchess and foreign brass are looking on. And his kilt buckle breaks.

I'll let him say it in his own words:

"... I could not walk away without acknowledging royalty and saluting.
But I couldn't salute! My right hand was holding up my nether garments, and if I let go I should go down in history as The Man Whose Kilt Fell Off In Front Of Royalty At Edinburgh Castle.
What do you do in this case? I shall tell you. You march up to the reviewing stand, arm akimbo -- it gives a Rupert of Hentzau touch, anyway -- salute left-handed, turn and walk away through the Castle gateway, dead casual..."
