I can't see how "apple" can have more than one pronunciation--that's why I'm confused. I can see, for example, that "olapara" could be "oh-la-PAR-ah or "oh-LAP-a-ra" (with the emphasized syllable capitalized), but unlike with "apple", you gave a single answer to this one. | ||

I misunderstood your question a little, I believe. Though pronunciation is crucial to this puzzle (specifically, number of syllables, which I feel you got close enough to earn as a partial-$poiler), there is one other factor which is relevant, which is why some questions would be answerable sometimes but not others. | ||
