To cool down the glass of water?

Two cubes of ice? If so, ice = frozen water? Did the water in the glass contain any other substance? Did the water in the ice?

Did the cubes look like ice? Were they made of: Plastic? Wood? Metal? Flesh? Stone? Cloth or paper? A single chemical (such as water)? Were they made from a combination of materals? Were both cubes made of the same material?

Were both cubes the same size? Were they intended to be placed in a glass of water? Was the woman performing an experiment? Cooking? Did she place them in the water intentionally? Was the glass an ordinary drinking glass? Was there anything unusual about the water in the glass?

Arek

* * * SPOILER * * *

Was she checking if one or both dice were loaded?

Correct. She was playing a game (e.g. craps) and was testing to see if the dice were loaded. They will descend with the heavy side down.

Well done.

Paul
