Is the title "Twenty" relevant? Is Old Hickory still alive? Deceased for over 50 years? 100? 150? 200? More? |

Old Hickory = Andrew Jackson? Twenty = twenty dollar bill? The thing it failed to include: is it something you would expect to be there because it is a piece of currency from the U.S? Specifically because it is worth twenty dollars? Something you might expect because of something you know about Andrew Jackson? Because of his having the nickname "Old Hickory"? Is the thing it failed to include a security feature of U.S. currency? |

Does this have something to do with Jackson's pistol duels? No. The answer is more obvious than you think. Go for the most obvious thing that we know about Jackson. |

So the puzzle has nothing to do with money other than the fact that Jackson's on the twenty, correct? Does this have to do with his being president? Is there something Jackson's presidency "failed to include"? |

Something unique about Jackson? Jackson's presidency? Something that made it/him a "first?" Perhaps the fact that he was the first president born after US independence? "one" = tangible? Intangible? "it" = tangible? Intangible? Could this puzzle statement apply to any other President? Could the answer? |

Something unique about Jackson? The only thing unique about Jackson in relation to this puzzle is that his doesn't include "it". Jackson's presidency? Something that made it/him a "first?" Perhaps the fact that he was the first president born after US independence? No to rest. "one" = tangible? Intangible? Tangible. "it" = tangible? Intangible? Intangible. Could this puzzle statement apply to any other President? Could the answer? No to both. Just Jackson. |

There isn't really much anyone can do to solve this, so ****Spoiler**** Andrew Jackson's tombstone does not mention his presidency. |

Does it mention that his inauguration trashed the white house? Or his inviting the public to trash the white house with free cheese after it was restored to livable conditions. :D |
