So there's a storm, and the boat wrecks, and the umbrella (and everything else on the boat) gets turned upside down. But because the umbrella's open (and presumably bolted to the deck of the boat?), he ends up inside the umbrella instead of wherever he would have otherwise been dumped. All correct? A man was on a cruise liner and comitted a crime (pickpocketing, not that that's important) in the restaurant area. He was caught by a member of staff, who tried to stop the man. The two fought, and the thief was knocked out by the employee. The employee placed him on a nearby table. Then, the boat sailed into some very rough seas, and began to invert. The employee, knowing the thief would die if he did not do something, handcuffed him to the umbrella on the table, and then went to brace himself elsewhere. As the boat overturned, the man remained stuck on the umbrella. If it had been closed, the handcuff would have slipped off the end and he would have fallen to his death, but since it was open, he simply fell inside. Rescue teams entered the boat and freed the man, then took him to safety. Well, that's that over, then. Well done, Noel - you seemed to do most of the work here! :D | ||
