One day you're arrested. You don't understand why, everyone else does it too! When you call your friends from jail they are surprised that you have been arrested. They do it 24/7 without getting caught. |

If your friends (or anyone) were caught doing "it", would they be arrested too? Are the circumstances that make it illegal specific to you alone? Are they specific to a certain window of time? A certain other activity done at the same time? A certain place? |

Arrested meaning taken to jail by police? Or arrested meaning stopped? |

Do your friends literally do it "24/7" (and somehow don't get caught)? Or was that an exaggeration? Was there something you did different from your friends that made you get caught? Or was it just chance? Would your friends have the same chance as you of getting caught at any given time? Do most people do this? 24/7 also? |

Were you arrested for breaking one of those outdated, ridiculous laws that are still on the books? Like, it's illegal to own a bathtub or wear patent leather shoes? |

Is nudity involved? Did you go streaking? Some other form of public nudity? But everyone else takes off their clothes in private, behind closed doors? And the people who do it 24/7 are (possibly) babies and nudists? |

I believe you already said no to it being illegal in your case because of a specific time or place, or other activity done at the same time... So the "something" you did differently didn't make it illegal (it's inherently illegal), it just made you get caught, when most people don't - correct? Similar to what Noel asked (but less specific), is the way you did it differently to do it in public, when most people do it behind closed doors? Does it involve sex in any way? Natanz, I believe you're in the Netherlands - is what you did illegal everywhere, internationally? Might I expect it to be legal somewhere, in some country, or part of a country? Did you destry something? Kill something? Eat? drink? smoke something? |

Computers involved? If so, illegal programs? Copyright infringement? |

Computers involved? yes If so, illegal programs? no Copyright infringement? yes Almost there... someone still has to say what happened. A very important word hasn't been used yet. |

If it is downloading music, did you do it in such a way (different from your friends) that they could track you? |

*****spoiler****** Downloading music? yes You were downloading music without using an IP filter. Your friends did use one so they had a much smaller chance of getting caught. It could also have worked for movies. I know nobody talked about IP filters but my question was only what did you do? My 2nd puzzle gets solved first! |
