Each is dressed as the opposite gender? Exactly so. *****************SPOILER**************** Actually, "they" are my husband and myself (and a group of friends). We once decided to cross-dress for one of our birthday parties. Most of us were in our mid-twenties. Amazingly, we found out that the girls in boys' clothes looked as teenagers, but all the guys looked as women in their mid-forties, and resembled their mothers. (Well.... all but one who refused to get rid of his beard and moustache, and despite trying to hide it under a scarf, he looked like King Kong's grandmother. It was fun, but all of us agreed that it was a very strange feeling to see your partner changed in such a strange manner, and that it definitely did not look attractive Now, Dropofahat, what it was you recently said about overestimating people? Here, I clearly did the opposite and utterly underestimated you. Rarely have I seen such a straightforward attack to the puzzle solution. Thank you very much, and it will be a pleasure to meet in another puzzle! | ||

I figured it was autobiographical. Very funny, I can picture the situation perfectly. Thanks a lot, it turned out to be fairly simple but still very interesting. Glad I didn't dwell on the time travel and plastic surgery aspects... |
