HEY GUYS. I am back from my immense break from the forums! I haven't seen a lot of you since May. Wow. Anyways, pleeeeease try for this puzzle, kind of sort of based on a true story. <3. Billy had an extremely incompetent teacher. And I mean REALLY incompetent. She had little knowledge of the world, and because of this, almost everyone on the earth was wiped out within a year. Please ask LOTS of questions. This is a very far-fetched puzzle. |

Wow! Based on a true story??? Okay ... so is our Billy directly involved in this near-destruction of the world's population? Did the teacher cause any deaths? Injuries? Does her subject have any relevance here? |

Okay ... so is our Billy directly involved in this near-destruction of the world's population? Yes he is! Did the teacher cause any deaths? Not directly, but the fact that she was incompetent caused many deaths. Injuries? No. Does her subject have any relevance here? |

Sorry, I got so excited about the first set of questions, so I forgot the answer the last question. Does her subject have any relevance here? Yes! |

Could this happen in today's world? Was the teacher involved in anything criminal? Was the "teacher" really a university professor? Did she teach biology? |

Could this happen in today's world? Potentially, but not realistically. Was the teacher involved in anything criminal? Yes, beware of FA. Was the "teacher" really a university professor? No. Did she teach biology? Yes she did. |

Deaths were of humans or other animals too? Almost everyone means some people/animals survived? How many? Is the number relevant? |

Did the deaths occur over the course of one year? Or all at once? Did Billy release a virus? Did he perform a physical act that led to the deaths? Did he fail to do something? Did he say something? Did he do something in class that caused this? Did he do it for homework or extra credit? Or was he just applying what he had been taught when he did it? |

Deaths were of humans or other animals too? Other animals too. Almost everyone means some people/animals survived? I guess so, but unimportant. How many? Is the number relevant? No. Did the deaths occur over the course of one year? Or all at once? Did Billy release a virus? Very good questions! Over the course of one year, and not a virus but very very close~. Did he perform a physical act that led to the deaths? Yes. Did he fail to do something? No. Did he say something? No. Did he do something in class that caused this? Yope. Did he do it for homework or extra credit? Yope, leaning toward yes. Or was he just applying what he had been taught when he did it? No. |

I guess I could have asked this right away, but is Billy 5-10 years old? 10-15? 15-20? Older? Does he do the deed in school, but not in class? Is he working with the teacher outside school? In a lab? Is he working on his own at home? Does the world's population die from illness? Is mechanical technology involved in the deaths? Nuclear explosions? Other weaponry? Are any people killed directly by other people? |

Does "little knowledge of the world" mean geographically? (like countries, cities, people etc.) Or scientifically? (Like physics, chemistry) Does she have knowledge of biology? Does she have a mental health disorder? Are there any other people involved? Is the location/date relevant? Are computers/technology relevant? Did people die from infectious or parasitic diseases? War? Suicide? Cancer? |

I guess I could have asked this right away, but is Billy 5-10 years old? 10-15? This. 15-20? Older? Does he do the deed in school, but not in class? Yes. Is he working with the teacher outside school? In a lab? This. Is he working on his own at home? Does the world's population die from illness? Yes. Is mechanical technology involved in the deaths? b{Ermm.. yes.} Nuclear explosions? No. Other weaponry? No. Are any people killed directly by other people? No. Does this take place in Biblical times? No. If not a virus, was it a bacterium? Yes. Petri dishes/agar plates relevant? Not really, but you're warm. Does "little knowledge of the world" mean geographically? (like countries, cities, people etc.) {Just, in general.} Or scientifically? (Like physics, chemistry) Does she have knowledge of biology? No. Does she have a mental health disorder? No. Are there any other people involved? No. Is the location/date relevant? No. Are computers/technology relevant? Yes. Did people die from infectious or parasitic diseases? This. War? Suicide? Cancer? |

Does Billy intend to spread disease? Does the teacher neglect to do something? To inform Billy of something? Or does she give him incorrect information? Is Billy a genius? Relevant? Lack of knowledge of the following relevant: Hygiene? Sterilization? Contagion? Weather? Air? Travel? Health? Water? Disease carriers (such as insects, animals)? Was the disease water borne? Airborne? Did it rely on a carrier, other than humans? Was it created by Billy? Or released? |

Does Billy intend to spread disease? No. Does the teacher neglect to do something? Yes. To inform Billy of something? Yes, but... Or does she give him incorrect information? Not exactly, but... Is Billy a genius? Irr. Relevant? Lack of knowledge of the following relevant: Hygiene? Sterilization? Contagion? Weather? Air? Travel? Health? Water? Disease carriers (such as insects, animals)? None of these but you're on the right track. Was the disease water borne? Airborne? This. Did it rely on a carrier, other than humans? No. Was it created by Billy? Yes-ish. Or released? Yes. |

Does Billy (or his teacher) fail to follow safety precautions? Is it relevant that normally a high school lab wouldn't have access to too much potentially lethal material? Did the teacher fail to teach or apply a scientific law? Some other relevant lesson? Is anyone besides Billy or his teacher relevant? |

Is it relevant why the teacher "had little knowledge of the world"? Just that she was clueless in general. Does Billy (or his teacher) fail to follow safety precautions? Erm.. not exactly but yes-ish. Is it relevant that normally a high school lab wouldn't have access to too much potentially lethal material? No. Did the teacher fail to teach or apply a scientific law? No. Some other relevant lesson? No. Is anyone besides Billy or his teacher relevant? No. |

I'm very bored with this puzzle, and I've forgotten most of the answer, so while I can, I'll give a ******SPOILER****** Although this is loosely based on a true story, I can hardly remember what happened. Billy wants to do his science fair experiment on incubating bacteria with harsh chemicals and medications normally used to fight disease. Billy's teacher approves this experiment, not knowing that not only is this extremely dangerous, it's against the law. Billy's experiment creates bacteria that are resistant to the most advanced modern medicine, and very quickly, the entire planet is wiped out. |
