Bristol County? Plymouth County? Barnstable County? Dukes County? Nantucket County? (Did I get them all?) Is it about the population of Mass? The pop. density? Non-human residents? Mass compared to other places? Could people in New Hampshire have a similar scrund about NH? What about Alabama? Wyoming? California? Alaska? Hawaii? Saskatchewan? Nunavut? Quebec? Ontario? New Brunswick? Zacatecas? England? New South Wales? Is it about a specific area of Mass? Specific residents? Is it that species X is found in X part of Mass? |

$poiler I'm just going to spoil this because after the scooby-doo thing got brought up, you basically either KNOW this or don't and would have to google it to figure it out. So here it is: Five-College folklore A popular urban legend among Five College students holds that the characters on the Saturday morning cartoon Scooby-Doo represent the five colleges. The legend has Velma representing Smith College and Daphne as Mount Holyoke, with Fred representing Amherst College, Shaggy as Hampshire College, and Scooby as UMass Amherst. Hanna-Barbera Productions, CBS executive Fred Silverman, and some of the show's writers have said that this story is false,[3] and that the show was actually based on the radio program I Love a Mystery and the TV sitcom The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis. In fact, Hampshire College did not open until a year after the premiere of Scooby-Doo. - From Wikipedia |

I think I had heard that one - just completely forgot about it, and assumed (correctly) that it was false. Great puzzle though! |
