Is there a real head involved? If so, is it a human head? Is some kind of "thinking" machine involved? Is someone involved speaking these words? Someone looking on? Or is it just an apt way to describe something? Does the headache go on for a measurable length of time? If so, seconds? Minutes? Hours? Days? Weeks? Longer? |

Note: There is a definite FA involved here, which explains some of the odd answers. Is there a thump? Yes. Does it cause the headache? No. Or end it? No. Is the owner of the head HAM? Yes. Is the headacha a literal pain? Yope. Is the pain in the head of the head owner? Yope. Is a medical procedure relevant? No. Is there a real head involved? No. If so, is it a human head? Yes. Is some kind of "thinking" machine involved? No. Is someone involved speaking these words? Yes. Someone looking on? Yes. Or is it just an apt way to describe something? Yes. Does the headache go on for a measurable length of time? Not really. If so, seconds? I said it's a short one. Minutes? Hours? Days? Weeks? Longer? was death involved? No, but... |

Is biology relevant? physics? chemistry? astronomy? geology? Was a special knowledge of anatomy required to construct the head? It's irrelevant how the head was made or, indeed, if it even existed. Science was required in the incident -- primarily physics, but biology and astronomy are mildly relevant and may lead you to what was really going on. |

So, it could be a thought experiment with a hypothetical head? Or an actual demonstration with a fake head? Is the fake head supposed to stand in for a real one? Is the demonstration about a situation that a person, and their head, could actually find themselves in? Or maybe just their head? In that case, would their headache be short? Would they die? If I remember correctly, it can't if it is a normal ceiling fan. Then they made a quite powerful fan themselves, sharpened its edges and even then it only cut a dent in the dummy head but was far away from cutting it off completely. Was it some sort of NASA testing? |

Ejection seat relevant? Other emergency ejection mechanism? Would the person, under certain circumstances, be ejected headfirst into a door, canopy or other object that was supposed to have been retracted, opened, launched or otherwise removed beforehand? Got it. ********************* Spoiler ********************* NASA's Gemini spacecraft included ejection seats for its crew in the event of problems during launch. During one test the seats fired, but the hatches did not. Astronaut John Young, who would be the Gemini's first pilot, observed, "A hell of a headache. But a short one." |
