I'm afraid this is a classic, so I'll sit out for now, but welcome to the forum! |

Taken from a famous historical novel? No Also, I just made this up, so it probably isn't a classic, unless I replicated one accidentally. Also, how do you make your text bold? |

Was he reading a book? a sign? an advertisement? A magazine? A poem? News? Instructions? Does the "he" refer to the reading man, or another male? Was he a fictional character you made up? a "real-life" character you made up? An existing fictional character? An existing real life character? Did he die by accidental causes? Murder? Natural causes? Suicide? |

Oh, good. I'm in then. =) You can bold text by putting markers around it \b(like this), but with {s instead of (s. Read the documents at the top of the main page and on the side bar for more useful hints! |

What I mean is, if the puzzle were to actually play out in our universe, would the man be an actual human being, or a character in a story? I was thinking maybe he died because the thing being read was written to have him die. Did he die from poisoned or infected papercuts lol? Was he "reading" someone`s facial expression or body language? Was he reading a website? A transcript of some sort? a schedule? Relevant what language he was reading in? |

Funny, but no Was he "reading" someone`s facial expression or body language? No Was he reading a website? No A transcript of some sort? No a schedule? No Relevant what language he was reading in? Was he murdered? Did he commit suicide? Did he die of a disease? Was he killed in an accident? (Car accident, etc.) Are other people relevant? Was he a criminal? Was he acting illegally? Was he reading a book that was banned in his location? Was he reading a book? Newspaper? Magazine? A piece of paper? Is he HAM (human, adult, male)? If someone else read this book, would they have died? Was he reading it for fun? For necessity? Had he written the thing that he was reading? Was he reading lateral thinking puzzles? Did he understand what he was reading? Was he afraid that he would die? This is just one of the puzzles that for me generates a lot of questions, for some reason. =) |

Did he catch his tie in the shredder? And suffocate? Yes! Okay, it looks like it's time for a *****SPOILER***** The man was reading important information which he needed to dispose of. He took it to the shredder, however, while feeding the document in, his tie got caught, and he was strangled. |
