If I wouldn't have wanted to go somewhere, I would've made an annoying mistake. Hope it's not too easy. :D |

First off, welcome to the forum! Now... Did you end up going to that "somewhere"? Was the mistake related to your preparing to go there? Is the specific somewhere relevant? Was the mistake discovered shortly after you made it? A while? Once you'd reached the "somewhere"? Did you want to go there by car? Truck? Tank? Humvee? Bicycle? Tricycle? Unicycle? Airplane? Helicopter Rocket ship? Skateboard? Ski? Snowboard? Scooter? Moped? Motorcycle? Walking? Train? Bus? Subway? Hitchhiking? Did you end up going? In the same manner of transportation as you had wanted? Was the mistake related to the manner of transportation? |

From one room in a building to another? Were you indoors when you made the mistake? Is the "somewhere" indoors? Your starting location? |

So it's irrelevant where you wanted to go, just the fact that you did want to go somewhere prevented you to make the mistake? Would the mistake have been to: do something? Say something? Forget something? Would the mistake cost you money? Time? Did you make preparations for going somewhere? If so, did the preparations prevent you from making the mistake? Did they lead you to discover the potential mistake and correct it? |

If I wouldn't have wanted to go somewhere, I would've made an annoying mistake. The place I went to is of no relevance. It's also of no relevance how I got to that place. I would've made the mistake long after I went away from that place. Another person who would've not made the mistake is involved. I would've forgotten when to do something. Because I went to that place with that person, I have not done the mistake. |

Did the friend reminded you about what you were supposed to do: during the trip? At the place you went to? After leaving the place? Could he have warned you if you were not going there? Sorry for the rather long delay! Balin: Did you do something relevant? Yes Did that something involve a prop? No Was it done alone? Yope Rbruma: Did the friend reminded you about what you were supposed to do: during the trip? At the place you went to? After leaving the place? False assumption; where I went and when he reminded me is irrelevant. It's only relevant that he DID remind me. He could've reminded me on any of those, and it would not make a difference. Could he have warned you if you were not going there? No, because he wouldn't have come with me Just to make sure, the following are not relevant: where you went Irrelevant, why Irrelevant, further information about the friend There is something you should know about him that could help, try figuring it out. Balin asked me if he is my co-worker at some time, I said no. That's technically correct, but he's something similar to a co-worker., correct? Couple of hints because I thought it would be way easier and I want to speed this up a little bit. :D |

Arriving early? Very early? Daylight Saving Time relevant? Would you have forgotten to change the clock? And thus accidentally arrived an hour or so early? |

Arriving early? Very early? Yes, that's it, close enough. Not related to DST, though. Guess we have a ************SPOILER*************** I was going to visit the gym and my friend wanted to come with me. School was starting next week after the summer vacation and it was actually starting 3 hours later than usual, something which I didn't know. Luckily, my friend told me that, thus preventing me from waiting at school for 3 hours until it finally starts. Thanks to Balin for his determination to solve this! Also, thanks to Galfisk and Rbruma. |

Clever puzzle! I've never heard of school starting three hours later than before. One hour, yes, but three? Wow. At least you got to sleep in (which is always nice - yay =) ) |

There was some kind of welcome-ceremony for new students. I enjoyed it. :D |
