For this rulebreaker, the primary objective is to get me to type the phrase below, but someone will also need to explain the rule because I think it might be possible to meet the primary objective without actually fully understanding the rule. The phrase you need to get me to type is: "Doctor Livingstone, I presume?" |

I do not like them, Sam-I-am. I do not like green eggs and ham. Would you like them here or there? I would not like them here or there. I would not like them anywhere. I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them, Sam-I-am. Would you like them in a house? Would you like them with a mouse? I do not like them in a house. I do not like them with a mouse. I do not like them here or there. I do not like them anywhere. I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them, Sam-I-am. Would you eat them in a box? Would you eat them with a fox? Not in a box. Not with a fox. Not in a house. Not with a mouse. I would not eat them here or there. I would not eat them anywhere. I would not eat green eggs and ham. I do not like them, Sam-I-am. Would you? Could you? In a car? Eat them! Eat them! Here they are. I would not, could not, in a car. You may like them. You will see. You may like them in a tree! I would not, could not in a tree. Not in a car! You let me be. I do not like them in a box. I do not like them with a fox. I do not like them in a house. I do not like them with a mouse. I do not like them here or there. I do not like them anywhere. I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them, Sam-I-am. A train! A train! A train! A train! Could you, would you, on a train? Not in a train! Not in a tree! I will not eat them here or there. I will not eat them anywhere. I do not like green eggs and spam. I do not like them, Sam-I-am. Say! In the dark? Here in the dark! Would you, could you, in the dark? I would not, could not, in the dark. Would you, could you, in the rain? I would not, could not, in the rain. Not in the dark. Not on a train. Not in a car. Not in a tree. I do not like them, Sam, you see. Not in a house. Not in a box. Not with a mouse. Not with a fox. I will not eat them here or there. I do not like them anywhere! So within the categories used to create the answer, the words "Doctor", "Livingstone", "I", and "Presume" were all CA, correct? right. I was originally going to have them count just like other words in their categories, but then I had this great fear that someone was going to start off by repeating my puzzle statement back to me near the beginning of the puzzle. It would have been funny, but I think it would have also thrown off the puzzle. So we've got proper nouns for Livingstone, Correct and pronouns for I Correct ...verbs for "presume"? well, some verbs... And professions for "doctor"? Correct "Professor Bob he like"? Doctor Livingstone I presume I see that you're working on punctuation here. So I guess that now it's confession time. I originally did have a rule in my head for punctuation, but I, um, forgot to follow it. So don't worry about the punctuation. |

\i:Verbs that are solo actions? they are all solo actions, I suppose, but not all solo actions would apply That involve thought? yes! I defined it as "verbs that take place within one's head, without action", but yes. Action verbs in general? Quite the opposite} **SPOILER** Reading across from left to right in a question, I typed "Doctor" for each word that I encountered that represented a profession, "Livingstone" for every proper noun, "I" for every pronoun, and "presume" for every verb that occurs within one's head without physical action. The exceptions to the rule were, of course, "doctor," "Livingstone," "I," and "presume," to avoid the very likely possibility of me having to parrot back answers to people asking me questions about the good Doctor Livingstone. As luck would have it, Kaylee started off with the very fitting (in terms of repetition of certain types of words) tale of Sam-I-am instead, and no one asked me questions about the dear doctor at all, so it turned out to be a non-issue. Thanks for playing =) |
