In my Health & Wellness class, the teacher occasionally gives us a certain instruction. However, I am reluctant to do this because of an efkigo (pronounced "eff-KEY-go"). Explain. |

is this another language? an abbreviation? a made-up word? a joke? is the efkigo a physical weakness? mental? fear? something external to you? have you ever obeyed the instruction anyway? do you always obey it? did it have the result you'd expected? is the instructor unhappy that you don't obey the instruction? angry? does he/she think the efkigo is a reasonable excuse? is anyone else in the class reluctant to obey this instruction for the same reason? |

is this another language? an abbreviation? a made-up word? This - see "NOT a puzzle, please move as appropriate" for a comprehensive list of other LTPF neologisms. a joke? is the efkigo a physical weakness? mental? fear? something external to you? This, depending on what you mean by "something" have you ever obeyed the instruction anyway? Yes do you always obey it? Once I did, once I didn't. So far it's only been given twice. did it have the result you'd expected? I'm not sure how to answer this - you may have a slight FA is the instructor unhappy that you don't obey the instruction? Not really angry? No does he/she think the efkigo is a reasonable excuse? It's a she, and Yes is anyone else in the class reluctant to obey this instruction for the same reason? No |

Is the efkigo there before you obey the instruction? Or would it be the result of obeying the instruction? Could the instruction be given in another class? Or is it related to Health & Wellness? Does it involve saying something? Doing something? Not doing something? Writing? Reading? Would you obey the instruction if it was given by someone else? In a different class? |

Is the efkigo a word that is used in the instruction? Noish Your FA is about the nature of the efkigo - you're assuming it's part of the instruction. Which it is (-ish), but in a different way than you think. |

something with a magnetic field? like, having to pass through a security barrier with equipment which might wipe data? No, but see below is it the battery pack? Incredibly the answer is Yes. Nice leap - how did you get that? power supply? RECAP with a time update: Three times this semester, my Health & Wellness professor has asked the class to bring our laptops to class. I have brought it twice, but each of the three times, I was reluctant to do so because of something which I have dubbed an efkigo. An efkigo is a laptop's battery with a certain quality. To solve, you need to: -Find out the specific quality of the battery. -Find out how this quality relates to my reluctance. |

would the battery run down on the way there? No even when the PC's turned off? No is the efkigo the battery itself? Yes - an efkigo is a laptop battery which runs for an inordinately short amount of time. I know I'm missing something Hmmm...looks like you've got enough to me! **********SPOILER********** My Health & Wellness teacher has asked the class three times this semester to bring our laptops to class. I did so twice, but each of the three times I was reluctant to bring it; the main reason being that my laptop has an efkigo - a battery with a very short life (about 2 minutes, no joke) - so I would have to bring the laptop, the power cords, etc, plus I'd have to sit near one of the few wall outlets, and the cord could trip people - it'd just be a hassle. Nice solve, Shez - new puzzle up after dinner. |
