Do you mean the "hole" in the sock that is always there (like where you put your foot in)? Or a hole as in "torn"? Does this apply to socks in general? One pair of socks? One single sock? | ||

you lost the sock? For a time, yes. I could ask you how, but that would be just prolonging the inevitable **********SPOILER********** I can recognize my most comfortable pair of socks because one of them - I always wear it as the right sock - has a hole in the toe. However, when I was emptying out the dryer after my last load of laundry, that one sock was missing. So for the few minutes when I couldn't find the sock, I could tell you where the hole was (in the toe), but not where the hole was (because I didn't know where the sock was!). Two minutes after posting the puzzle, by the way, I found the sock in the laundry room. So no harm done. Nice work everyone (Doriana, Shez, Kaylee) - now try my next one. | ||
