I used to have a scrund about a certain piece of technology. Had this scrund not been cured, a Christmas present would have kept the scrund alive. What's the scrund? |

"Certain piece of technology" - an individual, unique piece of technology (like, say, the countdown ball in Times Square on New Year's Eve, if that counts...) A single piece of technology that's only one of many (like a particular laptop computer, but there's many different kinds of laptops, and even more individual laptops of each kind?) A scrund about multiple units of the same kind of technology (like about all laptop computers, or all laptops of a certain brand, etc.?) With the caveat that I may have the wrong technology, which one is closest? |

Batteries are never included? Nope, but wouldn't that be great? "Certain piece of technology" - an individual, unique piece of technology (like, say, the countdown ball in Times Square on New Year's Eve, if that counts...) A single piece of technology that's only one of many (like a particular laptop computer, but there's many different kinds of laptops, and even more individual laptops of each kind?) A scrund about multiple units of the same kind of technology (like about all laptop computers, or all laptops of a certain brand, etc.?) With the caveat that I may have the wrong technology, which one is closest? Either of the last two. Assume the third. And it's not laptops. *laughs hysterically at Lynne's guess* I want that to be right. =) I love it! I do too, but unfortunately, it's not... |

Did you think it knew the colour of your car? This, and that's a wrap. the brand? **********SPOILER********** My first GPS is installed in my dad's car, because at the time I got it, I did not have a car of my own. His car is light blue, and when showing the map and route, the GPS shows a light blue car travelling along the road. So I thought that the GPS could tell the color of your car...until I mentioned this to my dad, and he laughed at me. Interestingly, when I got my new GPS for Christmas last year and installed it in my car, I noticed that it displays a white car. My car is white, so had my scrund not been cured, I still would have it today. (Also interestingly: the light blue car icon is similar in shape/style to my dad's car, and the white car icon to mine. So that could have been a second scrund.) Kudos to Galfisk for a lot of groundwork and Doriana for the last bits. May your technology never lead you astray. |
