Ever since I put the original statement I've been thinking that there is nothing to go on and I personally dislike such vague statements. So we have a new puzzle statement. All previous answers still stand - it's still the same puzzle. I never knew that my dogs had been so naughty! |

Did you think they were naughty? Did someone else think so? Did you blame the dogs for something they didn't do? Did someone else blame the dogs for something they didn't do? Did another dog do "it"? Did "it" happen at all? Was something destroyed? Taken? Soiled? |

Someone else: one person? Relative? Neighbor? Friend? Enemy? none of these! Did the person(s): see something? Hear something? Smell something? Misunderstand something? if you're referring to that someone else, then 'misunderstand something' is vaguely close but could mislead |

Sorry, mis read what you wrote, I thought you said dogs and owners as opposed to dog-owners. So you can take that very definite NO to refer to dogs with or without their owners. However, come to think of it, dog owners themselves could be of relevance to the site, but not because of owning a dog. |

I'm bored with this! I normally let puzzles run their course but this one needs to be put out of it's misery. OK, there was a site advertised above another puzzle (Google ads) which was where you could enter a name and get a report on that person's criminal record. I put my husband's name in and it said there was a report to be had. Uh oh. But you have to pay a fee of course. I put my own name in, and lo, there's a report to be had on me. Okaaay. I put Shadow's name in, and Sandy's name - both my rascals have criminal records. I put in The First Fiddle Fido of Mistyfell (my childhood dog's father's kennel name.) Another criminal...... Finally I put in "this site is a con" and guess what? The site is convicted, too |
