Do other major disasters/upheavals/news events that (may) strike your area pose the special problem? E.g.: Earthquake; Drought; Tornado; Rail strike; Political protests... Does it have to do with your livelihood? That of someone in your family? If you did not live in a hurricane zone (do you?), would hurricanes still pose this problem for you? | ||

Aside from the fridge/freezer being off, does the power failure affect you in any other relevant way? for example, water pump is electric, so you can't get water to take a bath, wash dishes, etc? (I've been in that position, though not because of a hurricaine.} | ||

Do you have to buy more canned or non-refrigerated food, which you then eat straight away? Is it to do with needing to use up all the food in your fridge/freezer when the power fails? So a power outage is an even bigger problem for me than it is for most people. Will my new puzzle be a big problem for you? Check it out & see! |
