He said she was fine, and no one believed him until the detective revealed all. Is that accurate? This is exciting, Balin! I do feel bad for poor Claire, though. | ||

He said she was fine, and no one believed him until the detective revealed all. Is that accurate? Yes, but there's a major point you're missing, related to what Claire believed about herself. Oh, forgot the bit about the doctor: Poirot has hired a doctor to look after Norma. At the book's climax, the good doctor declares her sane, despite everyone else (except Poirot) believing her to be insane. But Poirot proves that she was, in fact, being drugged. | ||
