Physically superior? Intellectually superior? Financially superior? Morally superior? Superior in looks? Superior in taste? Superior in etiquette? Did you do something particularly well? Did the others do something particularly bad? Everyone else = ...people in general? ...the persons around you (indoors? outdoors? relevant?) ...people who were doing something similar to you (did you do it as a group? independently?) |

Is the event that precipitated the feeling of superiorty a planned thing or something that happened unexpectantly: Like using some sort of implement to lift a truck up to save a kid? The object can be pushed or pulled so it IS moveable or at least parts of it is, right? Which is it? The entire object that is moveable? Or just parts of it? Could what he achieved have been accomplished without this object? Did he actually plan on using this object? Or did it just happen that it became a freakish or lucky part of the event? Does heat or cold play into this? |

Was someone else involved in this with you? Were you wearing all your clothes at the time? I'm thinking Polar Bear Club here, you know those people who swim in the freezing cold water. Anything like that? Was it something you physically sustained longer than any one else? This object you used, was it a tool, or an object that you used to serve as a tool? Did you use this object in water? On ice? Was it a snowboard? Skiis? possibly a surf board? Is it bigger than a foot? 2 feet? 3 feet? more than 3 feet? Does the size of it even matter? Is whatever you did something that encompassed a large area to do it in? Did doing it involve moving a distance? Or standing still? Was what you did done in reaction to something else? Did this action take longer than 10 minutes to do? Less than a minute? |

A freezing rain is falling, covering the roads with a thin, wet layer of ice. Cyclists lead their bicycles, and pedestrians walk gingerly on the treacherous surface. The cars are driving slowly and carefully. I confidently weave between pedestrians and cars alike, eagelry pedaling my bicycle towards home. People look on in amazement, sometimes punctuated by sudden realization. I feel like a god among mortals. How? |

do the tyres have metal studs or spikes? Yes! ***SPOILER*** I've bought studded tyres for my bicycle, so that I can use it during the winter. The difference is especially dramatic on wet ice, where I can go on almost as normal (with a bit of care not to turn or brake too sharply). Good work everyone! |
