A man pulls into a stranger's driveway. He sits there for about twenty minutes. Then he facepalms, gets out of the car and starts running down the street. What is going on? |

Does he facepalm because he remembers something? If so, is it something that he had done? Something the stranger had done? Something somebody else had done? Had he, in any way, been involved with the strange before? Or is the stranger just a random stranger? Is the stranger at home while the man was in the driveway? Relevant? Did the man recognize that he was standing in the wrong driveway? That the stranger wasn't at home? That the stranger was at home? Is the stranger HAM? Relevant? |

Was it part of his job to drive there? Was he police? ambulance? postal service? delivery man? undertaker? Does the car belong to his employer? to the person in whose driveway he was waiting? was the car stolen? Did he want to deliver the car to someone (like a rental car)? and was waiting for a co-worker to pick him up afterwards? |

Did he steal the car? Did he take someone else's car (for whatever reason) and then tell the GPS to take him "home", which of course was to the owner's house? And then he realized "oh bleepity, this isn't my house" and ran away? |

Ok, so Man 1 in Car 2 is in front of the House of Man 2. At the same time Man 2 in Car 1 is somewhere else. Correct? Do both men want to retrieve their cars? Can something bad happen to Man 2 in the place where he is? And Man 1 realizes it and runs to prevent it? |

Has man 1 taken the wrong car by mistake? has man 2? does he facepalm because he realises the other man has probably gone to HIS house with his car? or because he thinks the other man will be stuck because the car has gone and he hasn't the keys to the other one? |

Shez (Shez) were the cars identical? Yep. had they got their keys mixed up? Sort of. and when they clicked the key thingy, the other guy's car opened? No. were they parked close together? Irr. valet parking responsible? Bingo. *********************SPOILER This is (extremely) adapted from the surprisingly hilarious ABC comedy "Modern Family." To comedy lovers with Hulu, I strongly recommend it. Coming home from a restaurant, Our Hero is given the wrong car by the valet, but it is an identical model so he doesn't notice right away. When he does, he finds something with the real owner's address on it and drives over to return the car (and then ask for a ride back to the restaurant). No one's home. He waits, wondering how long these people will take to notice their car missing and hail a taxi. Eventually, he realizes what must have happened: they accidentally drove off with his car, found his registration with his address on it, and drove over to his house to wait for him! Rather than drive their car over and risk setting off an infinite loop of driving to each others' house, then their own, then each others', he decides to run home and try to catch them. |
