SPOILER FUN TIME About a week or so ago, some Half-Life 3 promotional images were released on major video gaming sites. They turned out to be a hoax, but they still got people talking about the long-awaited and much-anticipated title. One thing that Half-Life fans have been wondering about, with no help from ambiguously-worded press announcements from Valve, is whether Chell from the Portal games will be in Half-Life 3, given that both games take place in the same narrative continuity and developers have said that Chell is important to the overall storyline. Fans have speculated on whether or not Gordon Freeman, the main protagonist of the Half-Life games, will meet up with Chell, and what they will do or say if they do indeed meet. I find the question of what they will say to each other to be a bit pointless, given that both characters are mute. |
